We invite you to join us for the Hindu wedding ceremony, the most sacred and meaningful part of our celebrations. It will take place at Neerav’s childhood home, set within a beautiful garden filled with love, memories, and family — the perfect setting to begin this new chapter.
The ceremony will be led by our family Shastri (priest) and will follow the teachings of the Arya Samaj, a reformist movement within Hinduism that emphasizes simplicity, equality, and the spiritual essence of the Vedas. The Kapila family have long belonged to the Arya Samaj community, which values truth, respect for all faiths, and living in harmony with nature and others.
At the heart of the ceremony is the Havan, a sacred fire ritual in which offerings are made into the flames — symbolizing purity, light, and the divine witness to the vows being exchanged. The fire represents the presence of God, and the couple’s promises are made in its warmth and glow.
Family and friends are invited to sit close, observe, and share in the peace and meaning of this timeless tradition.
Following the ceremony, guests will be served a vegetarian lunch. Please note that this is a non-alcohol celebration, in keeping with the spiritual nature of the occasion.
